About Me

Becca Tavernier, PhD, LP, PMH-C

I’m a therapist who loves working with women to navigate the challenges of modern life.

I know how exhausting it can feel to juggle work, family, and personal growth while trying to be “your best” at everything. I’ve faced those same pressures, and they’ve taught me the importance of self-compassion, reaching out for support, and giving yourself grace—lessons that shape how I show up in therapy.

In our sessions, I’ll bring empathy, practical guidance, and a collaborative spirit. Using research-backed approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, we’ll work together to explore your strengths, clarify your values, and develop realistic strategies to help you overcome obstacles and feel more fulfilled.

My Values

Compassion

I believe in meeting people with genuine care and kindness. No judgment, no lectures—just a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported, even on your most complicated days.

Authenticity

Be your full, real, messy self—I’ll meet you with curiosity, understanding, and no raised eyebrows. Your thoughts and feelings are welcome here, exactly as they are.

Empowerment

I’m here to help you recognize your strengths and take charge of the changes you want in your life. Together, we’ll tackle challenges, set meaningful goals, and take proactive steps toward positive growth.

Holistic Approach

I focus on the whole picture—your mind, body, and life circumstances. I’ll incorporate evidence-based strategies alongside mindfulness and holistic principles to bring more balance, calm, and wellbeing into your life.
